Superwomen in Science

Superwomen in Science is a podcast about the past, present and future of women in science. The podcast is created and hosted by Nicole George, who is currently completing her Master’s in Neuroscience at McGill University, and Cordon Purcell, who is completing her Master’s in Music Therapy at Concordia University.

The Superwomen in Science podcast aims to highlight a wide variety of different scientific endeavours, ranging from arts research to STEM fields. Each episode includes a discussion about current issues, stories of past women, interviews with current women in science, and a section highlighting opportunities/organizations for future generations. The goal of the podcast is to increase exposure of women in science, as motivation for young women entering scientific fields and to provide a supportive community for current lady scientists.

Fans of the podcast (or simply women in science) can contact Superwomen in Science through their twitter feed (@superwomensci) or on Facebook (Superwomen in Science Podcast).
